Girl Scouts and Homeschooling

Our daughter is currently an independent Girl Scout but soon hopes to join a homeschooling troop close to our home. Girl Scouts has been incorporated in our daughters studies for several reasons. I was a Girl Scout as a child and really enjoyed the experience and hoped my daughter would too. Also BreAnna is our only daughter and in a house full of Cub Scouts I felt it was important for her to be a Girl Scout. Each week or so I will post a Scout  Project we are working. Sometimes it will be something that goes with our current studies. Other times it will be something that is just scouting and we wanted to cover it in our homeschooling program. See what we are doing at Scout Projects

We work on atleast on badge a week. I will post our ideas on this site so if you want a little extra help with your daughters Girl Scout Program. We try hard to incorporate our badge selections with our current studies or the current season.
