First Week Of JuneBicycling Belt LoopTiger Cubs, Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts may complete requireents in a family, den, pack, school, or community enviroment. Tiger Cubs must work with their parent or adult partner. Parents and partners do not earn loops or pins Belt LoopComplete these three Requirements 1. Explain the rules of safe bicycling to your den leader or adult partner. 2. Demonstrate the correct fit of a bicycle helmet 3. Show how to ride a bike safely, using all hand signals and following all saftey rules. Ride for atleast half an hour with an adult partner, your family or your den. ****Personal Note***** Check with your local city and see if they have a bicycle licensing or registration prgram. In Our town each bike can be registered for a $1 fee. This will put your bike's serial number on file in case of a theft. My children recived a small registration sticker for their bike. Never put a license plate on your child's bike displaying their name or nick name. This opens them to strangers calling them by name and telling them something to get them to come with them.
