This Months Acheivemnts and Electives include the following

Family Fun Acheivement 10

Have your scout plan and go on a family trip. Whether it be to check out a

museum, airport, zoo or even just a park. Have him plan this trip step by

step. For example:

 * Travel arrangements. A map if driving, bus schedule if using the transit

system. Directions if walking

 * Any food or drink if a picnic is included or if the outing is a longer

one and a snack and a drink might be needed

 * Any calls that might be needed to be made. Like a tour of a restuarant or

museum. Reserving any special area of a place you are visiting

Family-Make-and-Do-Night

Have your scout choice something for the family to make and do together,

It might be house decorations for an upcoming holiday, Gifts for other family

members, or even a service project of making food baskets, Children toys or

other items needed at local homeless or family shelters. Have your scouts do

any prep work that might be needed.

 * Calculating what items will be needed for your project

 * Collecting all items needed

 * Scheduling a time for this event and insuring that everyone knows about

it and can attend. We all know how our life is full of events

Electives 13 & 18

Read over the requirements for Electives 13 and 18. Plan out these activities

into your family schedule. A trip to the library can help provide any

additional books that might be needed to complete these activities, Make sure

your scout has everything prepared before the activities are to take place
